Road Run - 5.5 miles
Begin your journey downtown at The Bellingham Farmers Market. Follow the South Bay Trail to Boulevard Park and on to Fairhaven via the Taylor Street dock. Wind through Fairhaven up the Padden Creek Trail and out on to the side of Old Fairhaven Parkway. NEW: Take a right on 34th Street and go to the end where you can now connect back with the Greenways System up the gravel path to Lake Padden through the woods. The run ends at the Lake Padden Tennnis Courts. (Est. time 50 min.)

Mountain Bike - 6 miles
The leg is difficult as it winds through the woods of Lake Padden. The map provides a general sense of the direction of the course, there are a couple tricky sections that aren't outlined on the map, but you should be able to get a sense of where it goes. The course will BE CLOSED to the general public. WARNING: This is a difficult trail, you may have to get off and walk your bike.

Road Ride - 17 miles
Mile 1-2: South out of Lake Padden Park along Samish Way over I-5 heading down to Lake Samish. Mile 3: Wind downhill to N. Lk. Samish. Mile 4: Past Lake Samish Park, over the bridge, left onto West Lake Samish Road. Mile 5-7: Along the West side of Lake Samish to Nulle Road. Mile 7: Left on Nulle Road along the south end of the lake. Mile 8-9:Heading North along East Lake Samish Road to intersection of North Samish Road. Stop at intersection. Mile 10: Climb uphill on North Samish Road to Samish Way. Mile 11-16: Along Old Samish Road in the shadows of Chuckanut Mountain. Right on Chuckanut Drive heading back towards town. Mile 16-17: North on Chuckanut Drive into Fairhaven Park. (Est. time 55 min.) You must obey all posted traffic signs.

Trail Run - 3 miles (or so)
Mile 1: Starting from Fairhaven Park, the route will wind through the woods in Fairhaven Highlands

Mile 2: We've created a bigger loop within the woods, to cut down on the hard pack running- this will be a fun surprise for all. Here's a view of the new route as captured on a GPS system. Mile 3 follow the greenways down to Marine Park in Fairhaven. (Est. time 30 min.)

Paddle - 4 miles (estimated)
From Marine Park North in Bellingham Bay to the Starr Rock buoy, turn South to the set of pilings off of Taylor Street dock, turn North and head past Boulevard Park to Cornwall Beach. WARNING: You must be a self-sufficient paddler. Please have the correct equipment and knowledge of a self-rescue. We will have auxilary boats in the water to assist. (Est. time 60 min.)

TREK - 0.5 miles
This is where the fun is! Your entire team must do this leg. Start: Cornwall Beach. Across the train tracks and UP Wharf Street. Left on to the South Bay Trail past the HUB to the finish line at Boundary Bay to drink fresh Traverse Ale!
